Check your emails, responses needed.

As I’ve mentioned, I’ll be adjusting the gym schedule in 2026 for a few reasons — mainly to establish a consistent routine that allows for 8–10 hours of uninterrupted sleep. For the past 15 years, I’ve been splitting my sleep into about 4 hours at night and 4 in the afternoon, and it’s no longer working (and definitely not something I can sustain for another decade).

I plan to make these changes around February or March 2026 and will give about a month’s notice before the new schedule takes effect. Nobody will be removed from the schedule — I’ll still be available for the same number of sessions (possibly a few more) and will continue to schedule 2x/week and 3x/week clients with a day or two of rest between sessions whenever possible.

Right now, I need to know your available times (in February/March) that you could commit to on a permanent basis. I understand some people have more flexibility than others, and I’ll do my best to accommodate everyone — which is why I’m organizing this several months in advance.

The future schedule is still being finalized, but here are the most likely adjustments:

Closing all Wednesday mornings and Friday nights — if this affects your current session, I’ll provide alternative options in a similar time frame.

Expanding sessions on Monday mornings, Monday nights, and Wednesday nights.

Opening Saturday morning session times.

Possibly staggering start times on Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri (for example, 5:00 AM starts on two days and 6:30 AM on the other two), which could mean working slightly later on the later-start days.

Nothing is finalized yet, but I wanted to give you a clear idea of what’s being considered.

Please share what times you’d be available within the following time frames (in 45-minute intervals):

Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri mornings: 5:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Mon, Wed evenings: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Sat mornings: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

I’m currently working on version 4.0 of the online training spreadsheet and plan to start rolling it out before the end of the year. I usually begin updates 2–4 weeks before your next training cycle so that everything is ready ahead of time. Even once 4.0 is finished, there may be a short delay before your workouts appear on the updated sheet.

What’s Changing:

Streamlined Layout – Shrunk the logo and removed extra top info (glossary, goals, client notes, etc.) to give you more visible workout space.

Improved Mobile View – Unfroze the header row so you can see more workout info on smaller screens.

Refined Check-In Questions – Updated and clarified workout day questions.

Better Notes Section – Client notes now auto-wrap instead of spilling into other cells.

Aesthetic Tweaks – Adjusted colors and overall look for a cleaner feel.

Integrated RPE Guide – RPE info will be built into the sheet (no more separate PDF).

Glossary Relocation – Glossary moved from the top of each workout to its own sheet or the quick notes tab.

Other Small Enhancements – A few additional updates may be included, but these are the main improvements.
