Roper Physical Therapy

Roper Physical Therapy Our mission is to increase function, restore motion and increase strength using our expertise in Physical Therapy, Myofascial Release and Therapeutic Yoga.

Roper Physical Therapy is an independent private practice owned and operated by Christine Roper MSPT, PYT. Christine had a vision of treating each patient as a whole, incorporating the body, mind and spirit in order to achieve the desired outcome. Since 2003, she has successfully made this vision a reality with the help of an exceptional team of experienced physical therapists who share her philosophy. One hour appointments in a private setting encourages a teamwork approach between therapist and patient. An individualized plan is created using modalities such as traditional Physical Therapy, Myofascial Release and Medical Therapeutic Yoga.

He has mentored and guided me in my life, my work. This is a huge loss to our community. 💔💔✝️
From MFR administration:

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved leader, teacher, mentor and friend, John F. Barnes, PT.

John will be missed more than words can say. His kindness, generosity, sense of humor and deep love and connection he felt for all of us is a rare and special gift, which will be felt in our hearts forever.

As we reflect upon the impact John has had on each of us, we are reminded of what he brought to this world and what a better place it is because of him. We are forever grateful for the positive influence that John has had, not only on our lives, but on the lives of countless patients and MFR therapists throughout the world.

John’s life’s mission was to spread the awareness of the John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach®.

Moving forward, we are dedicated to carrying out John’s mission through our Myofascial Release Treatment Centers & Seminars.

This has become John's favorite artist, and he always commented on the power and passion in his voice. Please allow yourselves to get quiet, reflect, visualize and feel deeply as you listen to this song❤️

✨ 3 Years of Giving Back ✨
This month marks three incredible years of volunteering as a physical therapist at the Free Matthews Medical Clinic. 💙
Serving the underprivileged community here in Charlotte has been one of the most humbling and rewarding experiences of my career. Every week, I get to meet patients whose resilience, strength, and gratitude remind me why I chose this profession in the first place.
Volunteering has taught me that healing goes beyond therapy sessions—it’s about connection, compassion, and community. 👐 Tonight we had the opportunity to raise money for the clinic they are expanding into Gaston County.
To my fellow healthcare providers: if you have the chance to give your time and skills, do it. You’ll be amazed at how much you gain in return. you had a shout out tonight for your volunteer hours!
Here’s to continuing this journey of service, one patient, one session, one smile at a time. 💪💚

August is a month of transition—where summer lingers, but subtle signs of change begin to stir. The days are still warm and golden, filled with late-summer light, yet the evenings grow softer, tinged with a hint of what’s to come. While August carries the energy of completion—wrapping up vaca...
