Ever feel like you’re doing everything right…but your endurance just won’t move?🥵
Same training. Same effort. Same wall. We went down a bit of a rabbit hole on this recently, trying to understand why that wall shows up in the first place.
A lot of it comes down to how efficiently our bodies uses energy. Not just how hard we push, but how long we can sustain it. We know how powerful NMN can be for cellular energy. But what does that actually mean during training?🏃🏻
There’s one study we found interesting: recreational runners trained for 6 weeks, some of them took NMN alongside that training.
What changed wasn’t their max output. It was more subtle than that. They were able to hold effort longer before things started to fall apart. Which, if you’ve ever trained seriously… you know that’s kind of everything.
To be clear, it didn’t turn anyone into a superhuman. No huge jumps. No dramatic before/after. And it didn’t do much on its own - the effects showed up with consistent training. That’s probably the most important part.
So no, NMN isn’t some miracle supplement. But it might support the kind of progress that’s hard to notice day-to-day…and obvious after a few weeks.
If you’re curious, try this: pick one metric: pace, power, whatever you track - and watch how it feels at the same effort over time. Not your max days. Your normal ones. That’s usually where the real changes happen.
