Thanks to Arts & Science Council for awarding Piedmont Music Therapy the 2025 Strategic Investment Grant! This initiative funds a partnership with Mission Mappers, LLC to assist strengthening
our capacity for sustainability to better serve the community through music therapy treatment, inclusive studio lessons and educational programs intersecting music and health.

It is hard to believe that the retreat for board members & staff was two weeks ago! Piedmont Music Therapy greatly appreciated Sorcha - Upcycle Arts for facilitating the first program with fabric links, and then Tyler - Bee Downtown for leading the Candle Making Workshop. Thanks SHARE Charlotte for both connections.

We are excited to share that Piedmont Music Therapy received an Operating Support Grant from the City of Charlotte Government through the Creative Growth Grant program! This support will help us continue meaningful strides in expanding access to the arts for some of Mecklenburg County’s most underserved residents by hiring a part-time grant writer, strengthening the foundation of our organization and unlocking long-term sustainability. With professional support in fundraising and grant development, we can pursue new funding opportunities, deepen relationships with funders, and ultimately bring more creative programming to neighborhoods where access is limited.

Thank you to the Charlotte City Council and the City of Charlotte for investing in local creatives and for offering support and training through Charlotte Is Creative and Civility Localized during the application process.
