Please, meet Kelsey Ebright, who works at Balanced Health Chiropractic Center for 15 years.
We wanted to ask Kelsey several fun questions to get to know her better. These are her answers.
What is your job at Balanced Health Chiropractic Center? Massage Therapist.
What is a hobby or interest that you enjoy outside of work? Cross stitching, thrifting, antiquing.
What is the most surprising fact about your job most people do not know? Fascia release (connective tissue) is just as important as releasing tension in muscles. When fascia becomes restricted, it can limit mobility and cause pain. Sometimes, it can be the true source of discomfort, rather than tight muscles alone.
What is your favorite way to relax and recharge after busy day at BHCC? My favorite way is to hang out with my husband and dogs.
If you were not working in chiropractic care, what would your dream job be? I would still be a massage therapist.
If the Olympics added a “just for fun” event, what silly competition should be included? Carrying all the groceries inside in one trip.

We decided to ask Brandy several fun questions to get to know her better and for our patients and visitors to put the face with a name.
What is your job at Balanced Health Chiropractic Center? Massage Therapist.
What is a hobby or interest that you enjoy outside of work? Gardening, riding a bike.
What is the most surprising fact about your job most people do not know? Massage therapy is as much nervous system work as it is muscle work. Most people think it is all about “working out knots” or pushing harder on tight spots. However, the real magic often happens in the parasympathetic nervous system when the body shifts from fight-or-flight mode to rest-and-repair state. When a client relaxes blood flow improves, cortisol levels drop, digesting processes improve and the healing accelerates.
What is your favorite way to relax and recharge after busy day at BHCC? To have a cup of coffee with family and friends.
If you were not working in chiropractic care, what would your dream job be? Still be a massage therapist.
If the Olympics added a “just for fun” event, what silly competition should be included? Deep tissue massage performed on a man and seeing how long before he taps out or cries.
