🌿🩺 Managing Diabetes & Chronic Conditions🩺🌿
Managing diabetes is one of the most common concerns for individuals living with the condition. Keeping blood sugar levels steady, monitoring A1C, and building healthy habits are essential for long-term wellness. Our team provides education, medication support, and ongoing evaluation to help patients feel confident and in control.

At Amity Medical Group, we also support patients managing high blood pressure, cholesterol, respiratory conditions, and infectious diseases. Through consistent follow-up and proactive care planning, we work to reduce hospitalizations and support better health outcomes every day.

Staying warm during cold weather! ❄️
Ice storms can hit hard in the South — here’s how to prepare and stay safe:

• Stay warm & safe: Gather blankets, warm layers, flashlights, and test smoke/CO detectors. Never use grills or generators indoors.
• Prepare for power outages: Charge devices, unplug electronics, keep fridge closed, and have a battery radio for updates.
• Protect pipes & water: Drip faucets, open sink cabinets, disconnect hoses, and know how to shut off your water.
• Food & supplies: Stock 3–5 days of no-cook food, manual can opener, bottled water, and medications.
• Travel smart: Avoid driving, especially on bridges and overpasses. Keep emergency supplies in your car if needed.
• Check on others: Call or text neighbors, especially elders or those with medical needs.
• Pets matter too: Bring pets inside and ensure extra food, water, and warmth.

⚠️ Ice is more dangerous than snow in the South — even small amounts can cause days-long outages. Stay prepared and stay safe
