At Nevins, we love taking time to celebrate the individuals who make each day so special and meaningful. 💚 From smiles to shared moments, birthdays are just one more reason to come together and appreciate the joy our participants bring to our community.

We were grateful to welcome a team from Elevation Church to campus last Friday as they helped refresh our garden boxes. 🌱

In addition to volunteering their time, they generously provided all of the tools and supplies needed to bring this project to life. Our participants enjoyed the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and be part of the process alongside the Elevation team.

We’re looking forward to welcoming them back soon for phase two!

Our participants enjoyed being part of the experience—joining staff to pick up the meal and helping bring it back to campus for everyone to enjoy together. Moments like these create connection, shared responsibility, and a sense of community.

Our participants had a wonderful time making — and of course enjoying — their own strawberry shortcakes. It was a sweet way to welcome the warmer weather and spend time together.
