This week, we would like to announce Brain and Spine's newest Neurosurgeon: Dr. Eric Deshaies, MD, FAANS, FACS. He comes to Charlotte from New York, where he led the neurosciences program at Crouse Neuroscience Institute in Syracuse. Dr. Deshaies will see patients at Novant Health Brain & Spine Surgery - Cotswold. He specializes in both minimally invasive brain procedures and traditional open neurosurgery.

Dr. Deshaies earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and has completed fellowships in neuroendovascular surgery at Albany Medical Center and cerebrovascular and skull base tumor surgery at the University of Miami. He completed his residency in neurological surgery at Albany Medical Center.
