As a Physical Therapist I love trail running for so many reasons. Not only is it a great way to get moving outside and connect with nature, it helps strengthen muscles and tendons in ways that we just can’t get with road running. While it’s easy to get bogged down with maintaining certain paces, I prefer to ignore the watch while on trails and just go based on effort. Running is fun. The trails help remind us of that.
