Before an ellacor treatment begins, comfort is the priority. :handshake:

In this video, Kara walks through the numbing process, starting with a topical anesthetic, then regional blocks to fully numb the treatment area. Temporary color changes, puffiness, and mild swelling can occur, especially in patients sensitive to lidocaine, and typically resolve within a day.

As Kara shares, the tumescent portion is very tolerable, and once numbing is complete, the procedure itself is completely comfortable. Every patient’s experience is a little different, which is why treatment plans and comfort measures are always personalized at Criswell & Criswell. :sparkles:
