As we wrap up National Nutrition Month and head into Earth Month, we want to showcase one of our powerhouse teams that make eating better easy and helping our environment something we all can be a part of: our dietitians.

They are often the ones working behind the scenes to ensure wellbeing and sustainability are integrated into everything we do. They educate, inspire and empower others to do good for themselves and the planet.

Training that truly develops people should do more than help someone reach a new title.

It should build the skills, confidence and readiness to take that next step — well.

That's the belief behind Elevate People, our training and development platform powered by Elev8 Hospitality.

And this recognition reflects it:

→ 350 managers trained through Eurest University
→ 60 team members promoted from the largest Growing Up a Leader class in program history
→ Five new Centers for Excellence certified
→ Internal promotion rate nearly doubled to 10%

We're proud to be named a 2026 Training MVP Award recipient — and even prouder of the people who made it possible. Behind every number is someone who showed up, leaned in and grew.

Opening doors for the next generation of culinary talent is one way we are working to help move our industry forward.

Last week, we got to participate in a career fair at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC to show students the opportunities that exist with our team and at Compass Group.

We wanted students to do more than hear about opportunity. We wanted them to experience it.

They enjoyed Revolution Noodle-themed shumai, stopped by our Red Bull station, grabbed free “Hopeless Ramentic” tees, and spun our prize wheel for swag, including the highly coveted Sharpies.

And yes, there were great conversations and resume reviews, too.

Investing in emerging talent allows us to keep learning, evolving, and bringing fresh thinking to the clients and guests we serve.

That is what makes days like this matter.

In honor of National Nutrition Month, we connected with our dietitians at a recent event in Boston to hear their perspectives, from the recipes they are most proud of to the wellness trends they believe are truly worth watching.

Here’s what they had to say.

Thirty chefs. Three days. One stage — and Eurest showed up.

We're proud to celebrate Ana Chipantiza, Annika Sacher and Patricia Seitz, three of our own who represented Eurest at the Compass Group Women in Culinary Showcase — a leadership and culinary experience bringing together women from across Compass Group North America.

It was a chance for these chefs to cook side by side, share their stories and present food that reflected both their skill and their voice.

That is what makes this initiative matter.

Uncle Joey’s Hot Deli is our new deli concept rooted in personal meaning.

Created as a tribute to Chef Joe Falcone, our 2025 Chef of the Year and VP of Culinary for the Eastern Division, it brings a taste of his Philadelphia heritage to guests nationwide.

The concept celebrates Philly's deli culture and features one of Joe’s signature sandwiches: his Roast Pork & Rabe on a sesame roll.

First introduced by Chef Joe on one of Eurest’s early deli menus, the sandwich helped inspire the idea for Uncle Joey’s Hot Deli. Our team may not have nailed the Philly accent in this video, but they absolutely captured the Philly flair behind this concept.

We can't wait for you to give it a try.

25 years in the making, one Philly hoagie at a time.

Our newest deli concept, Uncle Joey’s Hot Deli is a tribute to Chef Joe Falcone, our 2025 Chef of the Year and VP of Culinary for the Eastern Division. For nearly 25 years, Chef Joe has worked to develop chefs, ensure excellence was the standard and food remained the focus on our service.

Inspired by his Philadelphia roots, the menu brings authentic deli culture to guests nationwide, with the kind of detail and point of view that only comes from someone who lived it.

Even more meaningful, it is an homage the impact Chef Joe has had on the many chefs and teams he has helped shape along the way.

Delivering great food and hospitality is the standard. Going beyond it takes discipline and a team committed to being "better than great" every day.

This California-based West Division team supporting a large public retirement and investment organization earned Centers for Excellence (CFE) certification for FY26, the highest performance recognition and our 10th CFE to date.

With a 96% overall score, the team stood out for consistent ex*****on across the operation. That includes strong catering and seasonal menus, clear culinary and brand standards, active training and employee engagement, and a marketplace that supports team meetings, client events, and day-to-day connection.

They also achieved top marks in food safety, operational audits, and compliance.

Centers for Excellence recognizes locations that sustain this level of performance all year, take pride in their work and continue to push the standard forward.

Take a look at what guests enjoyed in celebration of Mardi Gras last week.

The French Quarter Chopped Muffuletta layers salami, provolone, olives, and giardiniera inside a seeded hoagie.

The Shrimp Po’ Boy features crispy shrimp served on French bread with remoulade and fresh toppings. Jambalaya brings together seasoned rice, sausage, and chicken in a traditional Creole build.

To finish, Bourbon Bread Pudding is served with bourbon sauce and optional toppings like whipped cream, toasted pecans, or caramel drizzle.

Which one is making your mouth water?
