Take a look at what guests enjoyed in celebration of Mardi Gras last week.

The French Quarter Chopped Muffuletta layers salami, provolone, olives, and giardiniera inside a seeded hoagie.

The Shrimp Po’ Boy features crispy shrimp served on French bread with remoulade and fresh toppings. Jambalaya brings together seasoned rice, sausage, and chicken in a traditional Creole build.

To finish, Bourbon Bread Pudding is served with bourbon sauce and optional toppings like whipped cream, toasted pecans, or caramel drizzle.

Recently, our chefs joined peers from across the Washington D.C. area for Kitchen of Purpose, a day spent connecting with culinary students nearing the finish line of their training programs.

The students come from a wide range of backgrounds and are preparing to graduate and step into interviews and the workforce.

Throughout the day, chefs served as judges, offering real-time feedback, sharing industry insight, and engaging with students about their next steps.

It's an honor to play a part in supporting future culinary talent through mentorship, workforce development, and partnerships that create opportunity.

GULL supports our future leaders in preparing for the next step in their career.

They're eager, curious, and ready to dive into the books. Before long, these moments turn into milestones, and today’s learners will soon be tomorrow’s graduates at our graduation ceremonies in June.

See that hug in the top left corner? That’s gratitude in its purest form — shared between a man in crisis and the person who stepped in to save his life.

Chef Manager Jeremy Williamson was supporting a team member in the marketplace at one of our technical client locations when he heard someone shout, “ayuda.” Thanks to his newly developed Spanish skills, he immediately understood the call for help — and acted without hesitation.

Jeremy administered the Heimlich maneuver and stayed by the guest’s side until safety and security arrived.

We’re proud to have people like Jeremy on our team who step forward when compassion and courage are needed.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a time to honor a legacy rooted in service, unity, and action that strengthens our communities.

Through the Eurest Cares MLK Day of Service initiative, our teams honor that legacy by giving back nationwide where support is needed.

Last year, volunteers completed 20 service projects across several states, supported thousands of families, donated food, meals, shoes, and supplies, and partnered with food banks and community organizations across the country.

We are excited for what this week brings as our teams come together to celebrate, serve, and do good!
