Our HR team was proud to serve alongside for the 2026 MLK Day of Service—a powerful reminder that honoring Dr. King’s legacy begins with service.

Together, we made a meaningful impact across three communities, reaching 46,728 lives. From packing meals and restocking food pantries to supporting educators and providing essential resources for neighbors in need, the collective effort was truly inspiring.

📍 Charlotte: 29,403 people served
📍 Atlanta: 17,325 people served
🌍 Jamaica: 35,280 meals to be distributed

We’re grateful to start the year with purpose and momentum—and even more excited to continue serving together. 💙

As we welcome the New Year, Southminster is taking a moment to reflect on the meaningful 8 Over 80 Lifetime of Purpose Awards celebration held this past November.

This truly unique event – one of its kind in the Charlotte region – honored eight extraordinary individuals whose lives, leadership, and lasting contributions continue to shape our community.
