Nicole Forde is Therapist of the Month at Cano Family Services for March 2026!!!

Here is a little about her 🤩🤩🤩:

“I am a therapist with experience across a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient therapy, school-based mental health programs, and hospital environments. My background also includes work in group homes, day treatment programs, and psychiatric residential treatment facilities, which has allowed me to support clients with a wide range of needs and experiences. I primarily specialize in working with school-age children, adolescents, and young adults.

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, supportive, and systems-based. I integrate psychodynamic and cognitive perspectives while also drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches to meet each client where they are. I believe in creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward meaningful growth and change.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy cooking, traveling, spending time with my family, and exploring new restaurants.”

Lianna D’Orazio is Therapist of the Month for February 2026 at Cano Family Services! 🥳. In addition to supporting some clients in our outpatient office, she is also a school-based therapist at Butler High School! Lianna shared a little bit about herself: “I grew up in Raleigh, NC and later moved to Charlotte for college, earning both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UNC Charlotte. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations, including individuals, children, and families, supporting them through life’s challenges and transitions. I enjoy using cognitive and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients gain insight and build practical tools for everyday life. I also love incorporating expressive art techniques as a creative and healthy outlet for clients of all ages. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and dog, trying new things around the city, and attending sporting events!”

Laurdes Henderson, LCMHCA is therapist of the month at Cano Family Services for January 2026!!! In addition to working with adults who have experienced trauma, Laurdes is a school-based therapist serving children at Hidden Valley Elementary School in Charlotte, NC.
