On October 15th, we were honored to lay to rest Thomas Carroll Hunter, owner of Hunter Auto & Wrecker Service in Charlotte, NC.

A true local legend, Mr. Hunter built the largest family-owned wrecker company in the region, with over 60 trucks and 90 dedicated employees serving the community since 1945. The firm was started by his dad; Hunter Auto & Wrecker Service is a multi-generation business.

In a fitting tribute, he was brought to the cemetery on one of his own wreckers — a powerful symbol of a life built on hard work, service, and family.
