It was a pleasure for C.W. Williams Community Health Center to participate at the Care Ring Black Maternal Health Conference last week.

🤎 Black Maternal Health Week is April 11-17 and is founded and led by Black Mamas Matter Alliance, a network of Black-led/Black women-led organizations and multi-disciplinary professionals who work to ensure that all Black Mamas have the rights, respect, and resources to thrive before, during, and after pregnancy.

National Prescription Drug is this month!

Prescription drugs thrown in the trash can be retrieved to be abused or illegally sold. Drugs flushed down toilets also contaminate the water supply. Take Back Day is essential to protect the community!

This event provides a safe way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. C.W. Williams Community Health Center Main Clinic will serve as a collection site for dropping off medications.

Tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid prescription drugs will be accepted. Before you come, gather all expired or unused medications from your home and remove or scratch out personal information on prescription bottles.
