This Black History Month, C.W. Williams Community Health Center proudly honors the legacy of Dr. Charles Warren Williams, a trailblazing surgeon, visionary leader, and our founder.
Dr. Williams helped break barriers in healthcare, playing a key role in integrating hospitals in Charlotte and expanding access to quality care for Black communities. His legacy of equity, dignity, and service continues to guide our mission today.
Under the theme “Black Healers Then. Black Healers Now. Community Health Always.” we celebrate the impact of Black healers past and present who have shaped healthcare and continue to inspire generations.
This month, we honor Dr. Williams’ lasting legacy and reaffirm our commitment to healing heart, mind, and soul in the communities we serve.
