Monday February 23rd
Happy Monday. Just as a reminder to everyone, this week we have Mercury turning retrograde on Wednesday February 25th and will stay that way until March 20th. So you all know the drill by now. Back-up your computer and double-check all appointments. Keep your receipts. Mercury retrograde is not a bad energy but it can be annoying. Your car makes a funny noise and the mechanic cannot find the problem. Mercury rules our day to day life and so our day to day life can get a bit more annoying. Be patient with yourself and others. This retrograde can encourage more meditation and deeper meditation. We now have an opportunity to go back and finish any projects we have left undone.

The Moon today stays in the sign of Ta**us for most of the day. Around 9:30pm it changes and enters the sign of Gemini. So with earth energy strong, we have an opportunity to hunker down and get lots of work done. Ta**us is one of the two signs that is all about money, income and finances. So today is a good day to pay bills, talk to the bank and take care of investments. This Moon sits next to Uranus so it is also a good day to make some changes around the house or with family. Maybe you and a family member change your plans but it is not a negative energy, just one that asks us to be flexible and not get stuck in just one way of doing things. This Moon is also struggling a bit with Mars. Make sure you watch your temper. Ta**us is usually pretty calm but they do have that very famous temper. You can get more annoyed and irritated and let it out at the wrong person. But as long as you are staying grounded I do not see this as a big problem. You may be a bit more restless in the evening as Gemini becomes stronger. Have a great day.

We have a lovely Sunday ahead of us. The Moon is now in the sign of Ta**us and will stay there all day today. This Moon is making lovely aspects to both Jupiter and Venus. Since both Jupiter and Venus are beneficial planets and the Moon often indicates our feelings, as these all come together we may be in a very good mood. This is not the day to deny yourself or to embrace discipline. We want a nice easy day that does not stress us out or ask too much of us. We also have Venus and Jupiter working well with each other. We may eat too much and drink too much and buy too much. Keep those receipts as you may want to return whatever you buy after this aspect is over. But in the meantime have a great day.

Saturday February 21st
Good morning. I am still in the process of sending out my Neptune/Saturn article. If you have sent in a request and not received it yet, you should get an email from me today with the article. I am booked to work the rest of today but am hoping to write up Part II tomorrow and get it out to everyone who has requested it early next week. We all have Aries somewhere in our chart and that means that all of us, regardless if we have any planets in Aries or not, will be experiencing this conjunction (planets next to each other). This year is going to be a roller-coaster of a ride with so much happening with so many different planets. If you have never had a reading done, this would be the year to get one. I am also putting material together to teach a Beginning Astrology class next month. This will be a big year, but that does not mean a bad year. The better we understand what is happening, the better we can meet it on positive terms and feel stronger and more empowered.

Today our Moon starts out in Aries and stays there most of the day. But around 6:30pm this evening the Moon finishes up its run through Aries and moves into the sign of Ta**us. Aries as we know is forceful and energetic. Ta**us is more laid-back. So do you running around today and then kick-back this evening and relax. Aries usually provides us with more physical energy, so this Saturday is a good day to run around and get everything on your to-do list done. You are ready to play sports or work around the house. Aries can be a bit competitive and so sports is a great outlet for this vibe. As we move into Ta**us this evening we shift from fire tones to earth vibes. All the earth signs (Ta**us, Virgo & Capricorn) will get a nice boost. Scorpio may not like it as much as their Sun is opposite this Moon. Make no mistake, Ta**us is a hard worker but they also know how to pace themselves and get the job done. So a strong Saturday ahead of us to accomplish whatever goals we set for ourselves. Friday February 20th
Well here we are, the day we have all been waiting for. It is finally February 20th and the day of the conjunction of Neptune and Saturn. These two planets coming together has not happened in thousands of years and we do not fully know what to expect. Wherever you have Aries in your chart is the place where this is going to show up and activate that part of your chart. For me it is showing up in my ninth house and I am busy working on my website and thinking about offering new classes, all ninth house areas of interest. These two planets will be very close together this month and next and then Saturn will gradually move away even if they are both in the same sign. I may write up something about this so everyone can have some idea of what to expect.
For today, the Moon stays in Aries and is still pretty fired up. Aries wants us to get busy and get doing something. We tend to be more impatient and more quick to anger when the Moon is here, so be sure to watch your temper. But Aries is exciting. They are always doing something fun and can be very exciting to be around. So we are open to new ideas and fun activities. We get excited and then we get other people excited. But be sure you stop to look at all possible outcomes. Because of that impatience we can move too quickly and get into trouble. But as long as you are thoughtful this can be a very exciting and fun day. Have a good one.

Thursday February 19th
Our Moon today is on the move. We start out with the Moon still in Pisces, but around 2:30pm it decides it is finished with Pisces and heads out and into the sign of Aries. So our morning may be a bit dreamy. Very creative, compassionate and loving. But short on details and strong action. But then as we move into Aries later in the day, that changes. Aries is a fire sign and one that is ready for action. So we become more impatient and ready to make it happen. All the fire signs (Aries, Leo & Sagittarius) will love the new vibe. Libra not as much since it is opposite their Sun. Aries does not take any guff from anyone. They stand up not only for themselves but for other people that they see being taken advantage of. This sign is not short on courage. A good day to speak out about injustice or stand for those who cannot stand for themselves. This day is especially powerful as tomorrow we have the Neptune/Saturn conjunction happening. So a LOT of Aries energy in the air today! Have a good one.

Wednesday February 18th
We are still in New Moon energies today even though we are technically past the New Moon date. But we also have the Sun making a change today and moving out of Aquarius and into the sign of Pisces where it will stay until next month. We also have Mercury and Venus in Pisces. So lots of water energy.
This Pisces Moon is making a beautiful aspect with Jupiter. Since the Moon is all about our feeling and Jupiter is a planet of expansion, we tend to feel good when the two connect,. So a day of being in a good mood and wanting to get out of the house and maybe just have some fun. A good time for social activity and planning future events that bring a smile to your face. Jupiter is also a planet that is all about learning and studying. You might think about reading a new book or taking a new course. This Moon is also going to sit next to Mercury. Since Mercury rules the mind and the intellect our mind is extra busy. We multi-task and run around getting lots of errands taken care of. A busy day but hopefully a positive one. Have a great day.

Tuesday February 17th
Well today is the day. We have a New Moon Solar Eclipse. When an eclipse happens, it tends to bring to the light that which has been hidden. Sometimes this can lead to new insight and understanding. We have those ah-ha moments. Sudden and unexpected events can take place but that does not mean bad events. Winning the lottery can be a sudden and unexpected event. This morning, just after 9:00am is when the Moon leaves Aquarius and enters the sign of Pisces where it will stay the rest of the day.

Pisces is a water sign and so we may all be a tad more emotional. Water signs are all about emotion. Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are waters signs and will benefit from this New Moon. Virgo is the sign opposite this Moon and they may not be as happy. Pisces is the sign that is all about our spiritual development. It rules karma and past lives. We are more drawn to the unseen parts of life now, as we want to have some kind of connection with our higher selves and Spirit Guides. Because Pisces is the sign that rules fog and confusion, we can get a bit muddled today. Appointments get missed or get lost driving to a new location. Allow yourself some extra time if you are running around. But we are more able to go to deeper levels of meditation and connection. Have a great day.

Monday February 16th
Happy Presidents Day! The Moon stays in Aquarius all day today as we lead up to the New Moon Solar Eclipse tomorrow. If you want to know where this eclipse will fall in your chart, I answered this for all the signs yesterday. Just go back to yesterday’s post and find your sign.

For today, our Moon stays in Aquarius all day today. Some of you might already be seeing the energies of the eclipse showing up in your life. And remember that the effects of this eclipse can show up through the next six months. This eclipse will fall at 28˚ Aquarius and if you have planets near 28˚ you may experience this eclipse even stronger than most. I always refer to eclipses as astrological wormholes. It is capable of taking us from one reality to another in the blink of an eye.

This Moon is going to sit right next to Mars. Since Mars is so forceful and active, we may be going and doing and our temper may be right there at the surface. But we can use this energy to get a lot done. Mars pushes us to action. We also have Mercury, which is sitting in the sign of Pisces holding hands with Jupiter in Cancer. Both are in water signs and getting along beautifully. They will help us explore new ideas and be able to handle our emotions better, although they may be all over the place. Sunday February 15th
We begin our Sunday with the Moon having just moved into a new sign. We wake to the Moon now in the sign of Aquarius. Wave good-bye to earth energies and say hello to air tones. All the air signs (Gemini, Libra & Aquarius) will love it. Leo not so much, as it is the sign opposite. We also have a New Moon coming up on Tuesday the 17th. There is a Solar Eclipse happening on the 17th and it is powerful. Today is when we might start to feel the effects. In ancient times eclipses were considered to be portents of doom for Kings and Queens and those in power. Typically we start to feel the effects of this Moon two to three days beforehand. But pay attention to the news and what is going on around you. There can be some big changes happening. The effects of an eclipse can show up even six months down the road, so the effects can be long-lasting.

This Aquarius Moon loves change and shaking things up. The sign of the Water Bearer hates doing things in the same old way. So move out of your box and explore creative solutions to old problems. Eat new foods and buy clothes that are different than your usual style. We become a bit more rebellious with this Moon. If everyone wants to go right, you choose left, just to be contrary. We also have the Sun in a position of conflict with Uranus, the planet that rules Aquarius. So lots of upheaval and revolution happening around us. The worst way to deal with this Moon is to try and keep everything the same. The more you are open to new styles and untried solutions the easier your life becomes. Happy Valentine’s Day! We have a day that is dedicated to love in all its many forms. We also have our Capricorn Moon in a lovely aspect to Uranus. Uranus is a planet of change and newness. So today is a good day to try new things. Maybe plan a surprise for your special someone. The Moon stays in Capricorn all day today and Cap is not known as the most romantic sign. But that doesn’t mean that this sign does not show their love. They may just show it in a practical way. Maybe they pay off your student loans or buy you a new computer. Very useful. We want to see real down-to-earth results with Capricorn. So whatever you do today you want to see the pay-off. We may work hard today but we will be happy with the results. We are also moving toward the eclipse next week on the 17th and the conjunction of Neptune and Saturn on the 20th. Big doings. Many sensitive people are already reacting to these incoming energies. Friday February 13th
Well happy Friday the 13th! I have often had especially lucky things happen to me on this day. I do not look at it as unlucky at all. So let me know if you have particular events happen to you today.

It is a powerful day today as Saturn will change signs today and move into the sign of Aries, for the first time in close to 30 years. On the 20th of February it is going to meet up with Neptune and the two will stay together in Aries for the first time in thousands of years. Big doings in the astrological community. I am pretty excited about this. Saturn has been in Pisces for last couple of years. Pisces can drift a bit and not always take direct action. But Aries is all about direct action. I’ll talk more about this in the coming weeks. It is a powerful astrological combination.

Our Moon today is in the sign of Capricorn. Cap is an earth sign, so we leave behind the fiery tones of Sagittarius and become much more grounded in earth. All the earth signs (Ta**us, Virgo & Capricorn) will enjoy the new vibe. Cancer, not so much as it is the sign opposite Capricorn. This sign is all about career. Many of you will be taking a look at your professional life. You might be looking down the road but you might also get to work on some project you have been putting off. This sign is very responsible and wants to get the job done. You are ready to tackle whatever needs doing. So a strong day for accomplishing your goals. Have a good one.

Thursday February 11th
First of all, many thanks to those of you who sent me suggestions about the new site. I am working to get everything done. And already have ideas of more stuff I want to put on the site. So it sparked some creativity in me.

Our Moon is still very happy sitting in the sign of Sagittarius. This sign is a sign of truth. When Sag is strong we tend to dig for the truth. An excellent energy if you are in any kind of research or maybe an investigative reporter. This is a bold sign and we can boldly blurt out the truth at sometimes an inconvenient moment. Someone asks us a question and we answer without thinking but can accidently hurt someone’s feelings. Children especially say the quiet part out loud and we can spend some time trying to get our foot out of our mouth. So be a bit more careful today about what you are sharing. But this is a great Moon for public speaking and writing. They are after all, just different ways of sharing the truth. We are more bold in our speech. Great if you are trying to motivate a group but maybe not the best if a light touch is needed. We have this Moon in aspect to Jupiter today and Jupiter tends to have us push the envelope. This can be an exciting day for sure if we work it right. Have a great day.
