Compleat KiDZ - Charlotte, Baldwin is a pediatric therapy center offering ABA therapy for children from ages 2-8, in-home ABA therapy for children ages 2-12, and physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy from ages 0 -18. Our facility features open peer space for movement and private rooms for focused therapy while our team collaborates with families, educators, and doctors to create well-rounded care plans for each child's specific needs! We know that navigating insurance and payment options can be overwhelming, which is why we accept Medicaid and most major private insurance plans. Our goal is to make therapy accessible to as many families as possible.

Today we're highlighting Actress Bella Ramsey! Bella is an award winning actor known for roles in The Last of Us and Game of Thrones. They have shared that being autistic helped them better understand themselves and their experiences, particularly in high pressure environments like acting. While shooting in Canada, a crew member with an autistic daughter assumed Ramsey might be autistic too. This moment sparked Ramsey’s decision to seek a formal psychiatric assessment, leading to their diagnosis!

Many autistic individuals demonstrate remarkable abilities such as deep focus, strong memory, creativity, analytical thinking, and a strong sense of honesty and integrity plus so many more. These strengths can support success in learning, problem solving, innovation, and building meaningful contributions in their communities.

Every autistic person is unique, with their own talents, interests, and ways of thinking. When we shift the conversation to include strengths alongside support needs, we create more understanding, more acceptance, and more opportunities for individuals to thrive!

In-home ABA therapy brings support directly into your child’s everyday environment!
Instead of learning skills only in a clinic, children practice communication, play, daily routines, and behavior strategies right in the spaces where they naturally live and grow.

During in-home sessions, a therapist works one-on-one with your child while also helping caregivers learn strategies that can be used throughout the day. This might include practicing requesting during snack time, working on transitions during bedtime routines, building play skills with siblings, or learning ways to manage challenging behaviors.

Because therapy happens in the home, the skills being taught are immediately relevant to daily life. This allows children to practice new skills in real situations while families receive hands-on guidance and support.
