Happy February! This month’s potluck is a special one as it’s Kai’s last clinic day before maternity leave (time flies!) and the return of our very dear Mariah (just for the day but we’ll take it!), her daughter Ivy and a new little someone to the Riverhaven community 🤗💞 We won’t say a word more but can’t wait to have them back in the birth center.

Hope to see many of you there as we shower Kai in well wishes for a joyful birth and congratulate Mariah!

All past & current Riverhaven clients are welcome to participate in our monthly events!

While the midwives looked after her mother and new baby brother during a postpartum home visit today; Big sister Oona wrote a very kind letter. We can attest that Gwen is very nice to kids, we all want to be her friend and she has short hair to her head. 💗☺️

We are excited to welcome Virginia Price to Riverhaven! Virginia is an aspiring midwife and will be working alongside Kai and Emily over the next months.

In addition to being a student midwife, Virginia is a trained doula and certified EMT. A fun fact about Virginia is that she was born in Charlottesville, her birth attended by a midwife.
