✨ A few highlights from our Headspace Applications Day Workshop at our Amsterdam headquarters!

Our participants explored essential topics like container closure integrity, oxygen monitoring for sensitive pharmaceuticals, media fill inspection, deep-cold storage CCI, and moisture analysis. They also gained hands-on experience with headspace analysis.

💡 This animation introduces a modern alternative to traditional dye ingress testing: Combining the use of a tracer gas with non-destructive headspace analysis. The video follows a step-by-step visualization of how vials are placed in a container closure integrity test vessel filled with CO₂ tracer gas.

A leak in one vial allows gas to enter, which is later detected by a high-precision LIGHTHOUSE headspace analyzer.

The measurement clearly identifies which vials have failed and it offers a sensitive and analytical approach to container closure integrity testing.

This animation illustrates how headspace oxygen analysis supports stability studies for oxygen-sensitive products in pre-filled syringes (PFS). Over a 12-month period, headspace oxygen levels were non-destructively monitored inside PFS.

The point at which the antioxidant becomes saturated and the API starts to change color was clearly marked by a change in headspace oxygen levels.

Non-destructive headspace analysis generates robust analytical data, offering clear insight into package integrity, oxygen ingress, and product oxidation stability over time.
