If you've run into me at any markets lately, you've probably heard me talk about my dream trip to Australia to research my next Doofy Birds book. I am very close to purchasing the plane tickets for a month-long trip in September of 2024, with plans to visit Sydney, Daintree Rainforest, the Gold Coast, and the north island of New Zealand.

For this year's project, I enlisted the help of my Patreon supporters and Instagram followers to choose a number of the birds featured. Thanks to y'all, the Blue-footed B***y, the Kiwi, the Potoo, and the Long-wattled Umbrellabird made the cut.

We're doing it again! Moving meditation and birdsong at Panorama Natural Burial this coming Saturday morning (8/12) at 9:30am. Early enough to see some energized birds, but not so early that it's painful. 😅
