Secure Child Program The Secure Child In Home Program provides relationship therapy for families based on a comprehensive attachment evaluation.

Research suggests that children heal best in the context of their relationships with caregivers. The Secure Child Program utilizes a comprehensive attachment assessment to bring awareness to established relationship patterns and a strength based intervention to support significant growth and change.

Our goal while designing this website was to make our mission, vision, and services more accessible to both caregivers and community professionals. ATTACHMENT EDUCATION FOR FOSTER PARENTS
The parent education curriculum will teach foster parents:

• The biology of the attachment system
• The process of forming attachments
• Ways that experiences impact learned relationship skills
• Fundamentals of brain functioning and child development
• How behaviors provide a window to attachment needs

8 hours of education provided over a period of 6 or 7 classes.
