Creative activities like this can be especially beneficial in assisted living. Simple art supports fine motor skills, encourages creativity, and provides a calm, engaging way for residents to express themselves 🧑‍🎨

Residents worked with air-dry clay and simple dots of paint pressed flat to create abstract designs. Open-ended art like this allows residents to create freely, without pressure or right or wrong results 🎨🖌️

It’s starting to feel like spring. 🌷

Our residents welcomed the change of seasons by creating beautiful floral door hangers made from felted petals and leaves. With bright colors, soft textures, and plenty of creativity, each piece turned into its own little celebration of spring.

There’s something about flowers that brings a sense of warmth and renewal. A simple activity, but a lovely way to welcome the feeling of spring together. 🌸

Today our residents spent time painting flowers and experimenting with lace to create beautiful texture and detail. 🎨🖌️

The lace added fun patterns to some pieces, turning simple brushstrokes into something unique. Every painting came out different and beautiful! It was lovely see art bring out imagination at any age🥰🎨
