Meet Grace, owner of BodyLogic Therapeutics, located in Downtown Charlottesville at 800 East Jefferson
Grace is a board Certified Massage Therapist (Va #0019001463) with over 20 years of experience and continued education. In addition to her massage therapy training and various manual manipulation technique studies Grace has completed an Associates degree in Natural Sciences focusing in chemistry and human anatomy and physiology. Grace specializes in therapy for chronic pain relief, injury/ surgery recovery aid, facial tension release (TMJ, migraine, eye strain), relief from digestive issues, gentle therapeutic massage and assisted stretching for Children with special needs, stress alleviating relaxation massage, and prenatal massage. Grace utilizes gentle, highly effective neuromuscular modalities to include myofascial release, visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, lymph stem, joint compression/ release, assisted/ resistance stretching, deep tissue massage, and acupressure. Grace enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities to help them achieve improved over all health, and physical ability. She consults with local health care providers and licensed herbal/ nutritional counselors to best serve her clients and provides assistance in insurance and flex-benefits billing. Grace is recommended by local physicians, surgeons, physical therapists, dentists, teachers, dance instructors, athletic trainers, and anyone who has experienced her work. A message from Grace:
"As an Orthopedic Massage Therapist I seek the origin of the client's issue and consider all of the systems of the body that are involved when determining the best plan for therapy. Work into deeper muscular layers and organ tissues is achieved through the patient application of somatic techniques, (a gentle form of rolfing), visceral manipulation, and myofascial release. I do not use an "iron fist” or “brute force" approach. The office is inviting, comfortable, and convenient with street parking in front of the building.
