Time for our yearly reminder:

Unless you are a tank commander, please do not try to drive whilst peering through a small hole in your windshield. We will stop you, sit in the warmth of our cruiser and watch while you clean your windshield off in the freezing cold!

We have SO MANY talented local artists who are selling various items!

Seek them out, plan ahead, look for pages on social media & other sites, they're out there and doing amazing work that can work well in your own home but also as gifts for someone else!

We all know our brain does a lot, like everything, keeps us alive, etc but it can be quite surprising to people when they are in our office working on one thing or another, & things we aren't directly working on, are changing

This is also true of the physical work we do - working on shoulders & feet can help a LOT with back pain!

If you have a skill or talent or expertise, if you have a few extra minutes or hours ... offer your help.

Some are needing help with catching up with books, cleaning, creating a few social media posts, writing a blog, folding/labeling merchandise, trademarking ...

There are many ways to help small businesses, particularly those who are doing everything on their own, sometimes a small thing to you can be huge and life-changing for someone else :)

Irlen Syndrome is a condition which impacts how the brain processes visual information.

There are many descriptions someone may use for the symptoms they experience and the visual distortions they may be seeing, one is that it looks like words are "swimming" on the page

They aren't making it up, it literally looks like that!

Irlen Syndrome is a condition which impacts how the brain processes visual information.

The kids we see are often the ones having serious reading difficulties.

The adults we see are often doing fairly well but have persistent symptoms which haven't responded appropriately to medical care.

We'd LOVE to be screening more people, as we suspect there are many who are struggling possibly unnecessarily.

Yes! Dr. Adams works on extremities (your limbs), including ankles, feet, shoulders, hips ... and she can often address multiple areas of the body during the same visit. We also do what we can to help our patients learn about their body and how to take care of it!

So she can work on your shoulders, feet, wrists, and spine all in the same visit, which is something many other healthcare practitioners aren't able to do.
