Today we honored our staff and resident Veteranβs, and guest veterans, who joined us for our honorary luncheon today. Life Enrichment Director, Sherry Beverage and Executive Director Rachel Lindberg spoke for an opening ceremony , followed by a blessing of the food, by Pastoral Counselor Obie Sue Thomas. Our wonderful lunch of Pork and Chicken BBQ, green beans, cole slaw, mac n cheese and brownies was made by our chef/veteran Richard Timberlake. Our catering manager Rachel Mayo was on hand to help serve, manage and clean up. Our veterans were honored with a certificate of appreciation and a pin. A special thank you to Dennis Moler, an important member of our OLOP family, for taking the time to tell a story. We honor all Veterans today for their contributions and sacrifice to our country! πΊπΈ
