Our St. Patrick's Day Referral Partner party was a huge success, thanks to hosts Dana, Lori, and Brianna. We're grateful for our community friends and valued the time spent together. Courtney and Amanda were the “lucky” winners of our giveaways The dietary department's spinach artichoke dip and bread were a hit, complemented by Eric, Director of Maintenance and Environmental Services', specialty meatballs. Sweets and Treats by Nancy crafted stunning charcuterie and key lime pie cups, while Admire Cakes By Jay provided exceptional cakes. Marktika Taylor's basket and balloon arch added a lovely touch. Thank you, all!!

Tom Pitz is a historical re-enactor who has been portraying Founding Father,Thomas Jefferson,since 1987. He recently came to Our Lady of Peace to talk to our residents,as Thomas Jefferson,about the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson was the principal author of the Declaration of Independence, 25 years before his presidency! A question and answer session followed, much to the delight of our residents.

A belated posting of our Employee Valentine's and You Are Special party. There were many individuals who contributed to the party's success. We enjoyed chicken and meatballs, a candy bar, cupcakes by Admire Cakes By Jay, games and door prizes. We love OLOP!!!

Fat Tuesday. The day before Ash Wednesday. The day before Lent begins…and the last chance to feast and celebrate before the 40-day season of fasting and reflection. We had so much fun celebrating together this afternoon. Fat Tuesday, AKA Shrove Tuesday, Shrovetide, or Mardi Gras, is a joyful conclusion to Ordinary Time and a joyful preparation for one of the most important Catholic seasons: Lent.
