This week, we had the honor of celebrating our incredible Directors and Managers at Our Lady of Peace! đź’ś

We kicked off the week with brunch and continued the celebration with Crumbl cookies, a delicious catered lunch by Chef G, fresh fruit, candy bags, and thoughtful gifts as a small way to show our appreciation.

Your leadership sets the tone, your dedication drives our success, and your passion creates an environment where our team and residents can truly thrive. We are beyond grateful for the impact you make every single day!

April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month, a time to recognize the impact of volunteer service in our community. On behalf of OLOP staff and residents, we thank our volunteers for their time, talent, and dedication for enriching the lives of our community. We also recognize our dedicated resident volunteers who serve on various committees, gardening, music, spiritual offerings and librarians. With heavy hearts, we announce that our beloved Oscar has crossed the rainbow bridge. Although we are sad, we know our resident Susan, whom he lived with, as well as other residents and staff, made Oscar’s final year wonderful. We want to thank Jenny and Caring For Creatures for loving and caring for Oscar before we adopted him and trusting us to take care of him for the remainder of his life. He was such a good boy and we loved having him. He brought our residents so much happiness.

Our Life Enrichment team hosts such a great “Mini” Derby with our friends from Mini’s on the Move, Sun Ridge Mini Farm. Residents and Staff were so excited to see mini ladies, Flicka, age 21, and Baby, age 30, plus a handsome fella named Coco, age 20. Residents were served Mint Juleps, mini cheesecakes and soft pretzels with cheese. Please enjoy our photos of our own “mini” Kentucky Derby.
