Team members, patients aged 4-8, and their families got a sneak peek (and taste!) of breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings. They enjoyed breakfast potatoes, cinnamon French toast sticks, deep dish pizza, turkey and cheese "sammies," and (most suited to the ocean theme) fish sticks!

Three different menus will be available to University Medical Center patients: one for ages 4-8, another for ages 9-12, and a third for ages 13–17 — ensuring each age group enjoys meals that are appealing and nutritionally appropriate.

A typical heartbeat is between 60-100 beats per minute. During his bike rides, Charlottesville teen Nathan Brannock noticed his numbers were all over the place. With the help of our cardiology team, Nathan and his parents got an answer: supraventricular tachycardia, often referred to as SVT.

Following a catheter ablation, Nathan's racing better than ever – now, at a steady pace.
