As the seasons begin to shift, we’re offering ways to reconnect with nature, movement, and yourself. 🌿

Join us for Monthly Nature Walks with TWI, beginning February 1 at Riverview Park, and Reawakening With Nature, a gentle Thursday series at Ivy Creek Nature Preserve starting in March.

Both offerings invite you to slow down, move at your own pace, and be supported by the natural world and community.

It’s not always easy to speak up for yourself, especially when relationships feel complicated or emotions run high. Honoring Ourselves With Boundaries is a space for BIPOC women to explore what healthy boundaries look like, practice asking for what you need, and feel supported while navigating tricky moments.

Email info@thewomensinitiative.org to complete a screening by Friday, January 30.

Facilitated by Kishara Joy Griffin, MSW, and Tianna Jordan, MS, this group is about taking time to care for yourself, honor your limits, and connect with others who understand. You deserve this space. 🌿

Community events like the Mount Zion First African Baptist Church Health Fair remind us why we do this work: to meet people where they are, offer resources, and share hope. 🌟

Our Board Member Edie, Clinical Services Director Shelly, and Sister Circle Yoga and Meditation Facilitator Juanika were inspired by the conversations and connections made last fall.

As we move into the new year, we’re continuing to grow our education and outreach efforts, bringing mental wellness tools into neighborhoods, schools, faith communities, and other community spaces.
