Connection shows up in big ways, and sometimes in small, unexpected ones too.

Here are a few unplanned matching moments around the office, a reminder that when you work closely, support deeply, and move with shared purpose, alignment happens naturally. At TWI, showing up for one another is part of how we show up for our community. 💜🩵💚

🌿As winter begins to give way to spring, Reawakening With Nature creates space to slow down and reconnect both inwardly and with the environment around you. Hosted at Ivy Creek Nature Preserve, this series encourages mindful movement through gentle walks, embodied awareness practices, guided breathwork, and time for quiet reflection. Each gathering is an opportunity to settle, restore, and experience the steady unfolding of the season in a supportive and grounding way.

Led by Kara Castle, LCSW, and Sibila Quiroz, MSW, this program welcomes you exactly as you are. Join us at 1780 Earlysville Road in Charlottesville for an opportunity to pause, breathe, and reawaken alongside the natural world.

Caring for ourselves is one of the ways we stay connected to our healing. Our team shared the self-care practices that help them feel grounded and supported. These moments matter, especially when life feels heavy.

Self-care is important because it's proactive care for your mental, emotional, and physical health, preventing burnout, stress, and illness by boosting resilience, energy, and focus. Whether you’re exploring self-care or seeking deeper support, The Women’s Initiative offers counseling and resilience programs grounded in compassion and connection.

How are you caring for yourself this week? 💛
