We took to the streets of CSUN and asked real students what they think. 🎙️
More than 1 in 3 women experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime. When we shared that stat, nobody was shocked. And that says everything.
From feeling obligated to stay, to social media normalizing what should never be normal. The conversation is real and it is happening whether we talk about it or not.
So let us talk about it. 📢
Share this video and keep the conversation going. Because awareness is the first step to change.
Haven Hills has been lifting up survivors since 1977. We are not stopping now. 🔥

Brooke Axtell said these words in front of millions at the Grammy Awards in 2015. She said them as a survivor. She said them so that someone, somewhere, would finally hear them.

We are sharing them today because they are still true. Because someone reading this right now needs to hear them.

You are worthy of love. Real love. Safe love. Love that lifts you up. At Haven Hills, that belief drives everything we do.

Women's History Month is about more than celebrating women. It is about being honest about what women are still up against. 💜
Gender-based violence does not exist in a vacuum. It is connected to the inequalities that make harm easier and safety harder to reach.
When women are paid less, financial dependence can make leaving feel impossible.
When paid family leave is limited, pregnancy becomes an even more vulnerable season. When bodily autonomy is restricted, coercion gains more power.
Honoring women this month means pushing for real, lasting equality. Because equality is not just a value. It is prevention.
Share this if you believe every woman deserves safety, freedom, and a fair shot.

This Women's History Month, we are honoring women with more than a post. 💜

Domestic violence affects all genders, but women are disproportionately impacted, especially women of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and women with disabilities.

Awareness means making sure support is real, accessible, and reaches the people who face the biggest barriers.

Here is how you can help right now: Believe survivors. Check in on your friends. Share resources. Speak up when something feels off.

And share this video to raise awareness for survivors of domestic violence.
Haven Hills is here, every single day, for every survivor. 💛

Controll dressed up as love is still control. 👀
Monitoring your phone. Isolating you from family. Controlling what you wear, eat, or watch. This is emotional and psychological abuse — and it's just as serious.

✔️Gaslighting is abuse
✔️Isolation is abuse
✔️Control is abuse
Know the signs.

Share this. Someone needs to hear it. 💜
