RiverRun HEALTH is a multispecialty medical group in Chattanooga, Tennessee, providing complete health and wellness services - known as lifestyle medicine. Lifestyle medicine utilizes evidence-based interventions to prevent, aid, and often reverse health conditions by adopting a healthy regimen. Our practice includes primary care, internal medicine, orthopaedics, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, physical therapy and physical medicine, and non-operative spine therapy. Additionally, we offer multiple wellness solutions including a Healthy Lifestyle Learning Center, offering wellness and health coaching, a teaching kitchen, meditation and mindfulness training, and a full-service fitness center with personal training. Our staff and providers will do all we can to serve our patients while providing the most up-to-date and comprehensive care possible. • I am most grateful for…my family and savior, Jesus Christ.
• You may be surprised to know…I was a professional cowgirl before I was a nurse.
• In my spare time…I enjoy riding my horse, Burt. He turned 19 years old this year, and I have owned him since he was 7.
• My favorite local restaurant is…Boathouse Rotisserie & Raw Bar
• My favorite Chattanooga activity is…going to the Tennessee Aquarium with my girls.
• If I were on a deserted island, I would bring these three things...my family, my horse, and my bible.
• My favorite guilty pleasure…kettle cooked chips.

Say “hi” to Dr. David Bruce, Orthopaedic Surgeon with RiverRun Sports + Ortho! 👋

Dr. Bruce’s calling to medicine began early, inspired by a very personal reason: his grandfather, a retired surgeon confined to a nursing home. At just eight years old, Dr. Bruce knew he wanted to help people heal. His commitment was further strengthened while watching his father relentlessly battle dialysis for thirteen years. Seeing his father’s incredible human spirit and the dedication of the physicians who cared for him solidified Dr. Bruce’s desire to become a doctor.

He is proud to practice at RiverRun HEALTH, where he works to uphold that standard of care. In his own words: “God has truly blessed me in allowing me to work doing what I love.”
