Many people try to stay healthy with diet alone, but modern lifestyles make it difficult to consistently get everything the body needs. That is why we often talk about the Core 4 foundation: a quality multivitamin, omega 3s, magnesium, and gut support through probiotics or greens.

A multivitamin helps fill common nutrient gaps. Omega 3s support heart, brain, and healthy inflammation levels. Magnesium plays a key role in sleep, stress response, and muscle function. Probiotics or greens help support digestion and a healthy gut microbiome.

Together, the Core 4 helps support energy, digestion, recovery, and overall wellness as a simple daily foundation for better health.

Simply put, there are better options for a convenient breakfast even at your big box stores. Stores are becoming more health conscious because their customer base is. Look for a quality meat or sausage that avoids MSG and look for biscuits without the additive chemicals.

If at all possible avoid:

- MSG
- Dyes
- Additional Chemicals
- High Fructose Corn Syrup

We think Oxalates are a big contributor to kidneystones. Avoid them if at all possible, make sure to take your magnesium and avoid taking way too much of any supplement (Especially Vitamin D)

If you want a full breakdown of Oxalates and what foods contain them comment "OXALATES" and we will send you a video link.

Join us as Leah Lykos, Owner & Founder of Canine Movement Lab, walks us through the foundations of your canine’s nervous system!

Lecture Breakdown:
Part 1 Canine Nervous System
Part 2 Canine Nutrition and Diet
Part 3 Safety and Relaxation
Part 4 Trust and Connection

More about our Speaker:
I’m a behavior consultant helping people with their fearful, reactive, and aggressive dogs. I’m also a Canine Nervous System Specialist, because the dog-human system is in constant somatic resonance. I educate people on the importance of regulating not only their dog’s nervous system, but also looking at how their own system may be out of balance, as this affects their dog on a daily basis. It’s a bit like family therapy. Your dog may be the “identified patient” but we have to look at the household as a whole system with interacting parts.
My specialization is helping dogs who have a bite or fight history to feel safe enough to come out of fight/flight (sympathetic) or shutdown (dorsal vagal) states. I take the methods from Somatic Therapy derived from Dr. Peter Levine, and elements of the Polyvagal Theory by Dr. Stephen Porges to create somatic exercises for dogs. The goal is to help integrate their past traumas and restore a sense of safety and connection with the world around them.

My mission now is to show people that by listening to their dog, and caring for their dog’s nervous system, they can learn to listen to their own nervous system and start their own process of healing.
