Each year, an estimated 11,000 emergency room visits and over 100 deaths in the U.S. are linked to cardiac events during or immediately after shoveling snow. The combination of sudden exertion and strain—especially for those who are inactive, older, or have underlying heart conditions—can overwhelm the heart without warning.

Pace yourself. Take breaks. And know the signs of cardiac distress.

Being prepared isn’t about fear—it’s about awareness and action when it matters most.

❤️ CPR knowledge saves lives.
