Representatives from the BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Foundation recently joined Kingsport residents to celebrate the grand opening of the BlueCross Healthy Place at Riverwalk Park.

This new community space sits on the Holston River and features the first kayak launch in a BlueCross Healthy Place, along with accessible play areas, a splash pad and pickleball courts.

(The BlueCross Foundation has a self-sustaining endowment, and no premium dollars used for members’ plans are used to fund BlueCross Healthy Place projects.)
