👂🐱 Small but mighty… or should we say mite-y? 🐱👂
This sweet kitten came to see us with ear mites — tiny parasites that can cause big discomfort. Swipe to see what ear mites can look like inside the ears, then enjoy this little guy’s adorable face! 💙
🩺 Signs of ear mites include:
• Head shaking or scratching
• Dark, crumbly debris in the ears
• Redness or irritation
The good news? These mighty-but-mite-y pests are highly treatable with proper veterinary care. If your kitten is scratching those ears, we’re here to help! 🐾✨

🐾✨ Before & After: Brachycephalic Airway Surgery ✨🐾

Meet our brave patient, Carl, who came in struggling with noisy, difficult breathing — something many short-nosed (brachycephalic) breeds experience. In the first clip, you’ll hear how hard he had to work just to breathe.

After a soft palate resection, shown in the second clip, his breathing is smoother, quieter, and far more comfortable. 💙

🩺 What is a soft palate resection?
It’s a corrective surgery that trims the excess length of the soft palate, which can block airflow in brachycephalic pets. The procedure helps:
✔ Reduce airway obstruction
✔ Improve oxygen flow
✔ Reduce snoring, gagging, and breathing distress
✔ Support longer-term respiratory health

We’re so proud of his progress — breathing should never be a struggle. 🫶🐶
