Home base is Yoga Landing, who offers Mysore classes 6 days a week plus a Full Led Primary with the traditional Sanskrit count. We welcome everyone from complete beginners to advanced practitioners in and around the Chattanooga area. Come practice and be a part of this growing community with us. I am thankful for my yoga practice

As a parent, life can get overwhelming, but my yoga practice has been a game changer. It’s not just about stretching—it’s about finding presence, calm, and balance. When I make time for yoga, I’m reminded to breathe, slow down, and be more patient with myself and my kids.

Yoga has taught me to stay grounded during tough moments, helping me respond to challenges with more calm and less reaction. It’s also a reminder that taking care of myself is essential so I can show up as the best version of myself for my children.

Strengthening my body through yoga has also made a huge difference. By building more physical endurance and flexibility, I’m able to keep up with my kids—whether it’s running around the park, lifting them up for a hug, or playing with them without feeling worn out. It’s incredible how yoga has not only helped me feel better in my body but has also allowed me to be there more physically for my kids.

By practicing self-care through yoga, I can offer my kids more patience, love, and energy. I’m thankful for the space it gives me to reset, recharge, and be the kind of parent I want to be. 🫶🏽 - Anna

Since 1991, David has maintained an enthusiastic daily personal practice that is dedicated to Āsana and Prāṇāyāma study in the Ashtanga tradition. David met Pattabhi Jois in 1993 and over the next sixteen years traveled to Mysore, India more than twelve times to study with the great yoga master. In 1996, Pattabhi Jois granted David a teaching certificate; David is among a small group of Ashtanga Yoga teachers who received a teaching certificate directly from Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. ⁠

Friday 6p-8:30p | Aug 23 - Connection Between Asana & Philosophy⁠
David teaches by a set of 7 asana principles that he formulated over many decades from a study of yoga philosophy along with countless hours of practice and deep contemplation of the relationship between the two.⁠

Saturday 8a-10:30a | Aug 24 - Extracting Strength Through Standing Postures ⁠
We’ll explore the importance of using the feet, legs, and hips to create strength, stamina and concentration. Better understand how the standing postures are an essential key to building a strong asana foundation.⁠

Saturday 12:30-3p | August 24 - How to Seamlessly Weave Anatomy into Your Teaching⁠
We'll learn things like how to be openly curious about how your body works structurally and anatomically in movement and posture, the role of imagery and visualization in gaining anatomy knowledge, how asana actions are often simply applied anatomy instructions and more! ⁠

Sunday 8a-10:30a | August 25 - Art of Safe and Joyous Backbends ⁠
This class will help you better understand how to make progress in all back bends through a study of the foundational back bends in Hatha Yoga. We'll look into how to create a sound, well-grounded foundation in each asana. ⁠

Full Immersion Weekend: $300 for four 2.5 hour classes⁠
Drop-In 2.5 hour class: $85 ⁠
