This Christmas Eve, Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Child Life team visited every single patient room at Children's Hospital at Erlanger, 98 patients in total. We can't say it enough: we are truly grateful for the community members and staff who take the time the make the holiday season magical for our youngest patients. 🎇

We've had so many delightful visitors this holiday season! Courier Cubs created plushies in real-time, CHA Ballet performers visited with books, and friends from local Walmart stores brought a train of toy donations for our Children’s Holiday Shoppe. Thanks for making the holidays here a little brighter. 💡

Button and lithium coin batteries are used in watches, story books, light-up toys, household items, and other small electronics. These batteries are a choking hazard, but if ingested, these tiny batteries can lead to chemical burns and tissue damage within two hours, which can be debilitating or even fatal.

We received a special visit from Chattanooga Men’s Basketball, who delivered more than 20 bags of stuffed animals collected from the annual Hits 96 Teddy Bear Toss! 🧸 🧸 🧸

On December 6th, spectators were encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to the game and toss them in unison on the court at halftime. More than 300 stuffed animals and toys were collected and donated to brighten the day of local kids treated at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. Special thanks to UTC Athletics and Hits 96 for their continued support. 💗

No one knows holiday cheer better than Erlanger staff 🫶🏼 Parade of Presents is annual event where staff from all over the hospital decorate floats, dress up, and deliver gifts to children staying in the hospital during the holiday season. The donated gifts outlast December—our pediatric patients shop the stash all year long. Thank you to everyone who participated to bring a little more joy to our smallest patients. ❤️🎄🎅
