At REV, we don’t start with the mind.

We start with the body.

Your thoughts and emotions aren’t separate from your physiology

they are shaped by muscle tone, breath, posture, and nervous system signaling.

When the body feels safe, the mind has access to clarity and resilience.

When the body is stuck in protection, the mind reflects that state.

So instead of asking “What’s wrong with my thoughts?”
we ask:
👉 What state is the body in?

They need space to feel what’s possible.

We’re constantly inundated with what’s wrong…
who’s sick, what’s broken, what’s not working.

But healing doesn’t move forward when the nervous system is locked in survival.

It moves when we begin to attune toward possibility.
This story is one we see over and over again here.

Someone walks through the door carrying years of unprocessed experience… trauma that never had the space to be seen… a body that learned how to survive quietly.

And then something shifts.
Not overnight.
Not magically.
But steadily… safely… honestly.

They realize how hard life had been… only after they’re no longer drowning.

That soreness is your body resetting. Especially in the very beginning of care this can occur.

People will often say “it feels like I just worked out after not working out for a long time. Can something so gentle and so light really be the reason for this soreness?”

Our answer… YESSS 💯

Our specifical and gentle contacts awaken deep, intrinsic muscles and restore blood, oxygen, and nerve flow that may have been restricted for years 😳

As your nervous system lets go of old tension patterns, the release can show up as temporary soreness.

We see this as your body’s signal that real healing is happening. 🌿💫
