In a recent DUI class, a student shared this arrest story: "It was about 3 a.m. and I was on my way home from a bar. I was so drunk that I drove right past my house. When I realized what I had done I tried to turn my car around but decided that I was just too tired to make it home so I pulled over and passed out. Sometime later I was awoken by a police officer banging on my door glass. The police officer put me in the patrol car and rushed back to move my car - I had passed out on a TRAIN TRACK on which a train was due at any minute! I wasn't mad at the officer at all! In fact, I thanked him for saving my life!" (Even though nothing in this post breaks any kind of confidentiality, I did get permission to share.)
