Dr. Mark Kapperman and fellow Tennessee Optometric Physicians had a successful Day on the Hill in Nashville last week! Participants met with state legislators to advocate on behalf of optometry in Tennessee and our evolving role in patient care.

Representing Chattanooga, Dr. Kapperman was joined by Southern College of Optometry student-doctor Gracie Leamon. Gracie was a patient and technician in our office before starting optometry school, and we’re so proud to see her advocating for her future! 👏🏽

The party continues at KMEG this week! We would like to take a moment to wish both Tammy from our front desk and Buffy in optical a happy birthday. Tammy consistently lends a hand with last-minute scheduling requests and coordinates with other offices for patient records. Buffy is our resident book expert, with at least 1 book in progress at all times and excels in carefully selecting frames that fit each individual's style. Happy birthday!!! Thank you for being part of our team, you are so appreciated!
