📣 Now Open: Captain Spectrum Be Kind Scholarship

Applications are now open for the Captain Spectrum Be Kind Scholarship. This is a post-secondary education scholarship supporting Autistic teens and adults who lead with kindness, inclusion, and courage.

Created in memory of Chris Miller, this scholarship honors a legacy rooted in standing up for others and building community. The award supports Autistic students pursuing college, community college, or vocational and technical programs.

🗓 Application Timeline:
January 15, 2026 through April 2, 2026.

The scholarship award will be announced LIVE at the AutismTN AfterBash on Thursday, April 30, 2026 (more info coming soon).

Community support makes this scholarship possible. If you’re not applying, you can still be part of the impact by donating to help fund this year’s award.

Is your vehicle making a noise? 🚗

If you’ve noticed a change in your vehicle or simply haven't had an inspection in a while, we invite you to our Car Care Clinic on Sunday, April 12th.

We are partnering with student technicians from Southern Adventist University to provide our community with free, comprehensive vehicle inspections. 🛠️

What to expect:
- Detailed Reporting: You will receive a full report on your vehicle’s current needs.
- Expert Guidance: While repairs are not performed on-site, you will leave with a clear plan of action for your mechanic. 📋
- No Appointment Needed: This is a first-come, first-served community service.

Important Update for Our Caregivers

Our application period will be open April 1st – June 30th, and we’re excited to welcome caregivers across Tennessee to apply for respite support.

Each year, our waitlist resets. All caregivers, including those currently on the waitlist, must submit a new application during this window to be considered for funding.

Orange Grove is collecting prom dresses and suits for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, so that everyone can party, celebrate, and feel incredible on the dance floor!

This year's theme is the classic film Footloose, which means we're looking for elegant gowns, dressy suits, sport coats, and formal accessories in all sizes.

Please drop of your doantions at our main location at 615 Derby Street, at either our front desk or at the Community Supports Office in the Healthcare Atrium. Every donation makes a difference!
