Ran across a wonderful quote on the wrapper of a dove dark chocolate the other day. It read: “A rainbow always appears after a storm no matter how long it takes”
In our instant society we have lost the art of waiting on God for guidance and direction in the storms of life. We pray then we proceed to plan, maneuver and help God answer that prayer to our liking.
We should strengthen our faith by seeking God, trusting in His Word and practice applying His wisdom to our current situation.
We are the ones who make things more complicated than necessary, when God simply desires us to come to Him as a child trusting in Jesus alone.
May I encourage you today to seek out your maker. He is waiting for you with open arms.

In 2017 I published the first edition of my book, "When the Rain Comes", and in the meantime I realized that the rain falls on each of us in many ways. At that time, I went through an unwanted divorce and used my book to help others facing that same storm.
Through that experience and my work as a biblical counselor, I have become passionate about helping women through the many and various trials of life. This could include relationship issues, personal bad choices from the past, personal health concerns, caregiving responsibilities, and trauma.
My desire is to share from a biblical perspective how we can respond to these various issues. If you have any personal questions, you may message me and be assured that our conversation will be held in strict confidence.
