This Sunday looks like this over here.

Not brunch. Not naps. Not “soft life” niceties.

Cleaning. Wiping down tables. Reorganizing oils. Moving boxes. Relabeling bins I swore I already labeled.

Running a handmade business from home means your peace and your production live in the same space. So every now and then, you gotta reset the energy and the workflow at the same time.

Today was one of those days.

Just me, music playing, putting everything back where it belongs so the week can flow better.

It may not be glamorous… but it’s honest and transparent.

Grateful for every shelf, every table, every lesson built in this space.

Back at it tomorrow.

No ego attached.

Years later and I still create everything from my home studio.

No warehouse.
No big production team.

Just intention, consistency, and grace.

And yes… I sleep very well at night knowing every bill connected to this life is paid.

Build it how it works for you. Not how it looks for others.

Real time behind the scenes.

Wick testing has been happening heavy over here.

And if you’ve been with Divine Purity for any length of time, then you already know wooden wicks have been a part of our story since the very beginning. The crackle. The aesthetic. The whole experience. It became synonymous with our candles.

So this post is a little bittersweet to write.

Over the past few months I’ve been deep in testing. Same vessels. Same fragrance blends. Just revisiting performance, flame height, melt pool, second burns, all the things that matter long term once the candle leaves our hands and goes into your home.

And through that process I started noticing some inconsistencies that I could no longer ignore. Not across everything. But enough for me to pause and really evaluate what experience we want to continue offering.

And if it requires too much babysitting or doesn’t burn the way I feel it should… then it’s on me to make the adjustment.

So after going back and forth internally, we’ve made the decision to move away from our beloved wooden wicks and transition into a wick series that offers a more consistent burn experience.

This wasn’t quick. And it definitely wasn’t easy.

Wooden wicks have been part of Divine Purity since day one. They helped shape the ambiance of our brand. But growth sometimes looks like refining the parts people don’t see… so what they do experience feels better.

Same intentional pours, fragrance depth, and Divine Purity energy.

Just an evolved burn.

Thank you for always allowing us to move with honesty and intention… even when it’s sentimental.

Customer Review: “I have acne prone skin and this is the only lip balm I have tried that actually keeps my lips moisturized (even throughout the winter!) without causing breakouts. I ordered several to have on hand for my purse, car, makeup bag, and around the house.”

There’s something I want to share about this packaging upgrade…because it didn’t happen overnight.
If you’ve been rocking with Divine Purity for a while, then you remember our original tube packaging. That was our foundation. It was familiar. It was recognizable. It did what it needed to do for that season.
But when we made the decision to move away from those tubes because of tariffs, we had to pivot. And we had to pivot fast.
The packaging that came after served its purpose, but if I’m being honest, it always felt like it was just passing through. It wasn’t the final stop.
And over time, the issues started showing up.
Oils leaking through.
Seams coming apart.
Structural things that just didn’t hold up the way I needed them to.
And for me, that mattered…because what’s inside our incense is intentional. It’s crafted with care. It’s rooted. It’s elevated.
So when the outside doesn’t reflect the inside, it creates a disconnect.
I never want Divine Purity to feel like that.
So we went back to the drawing board.
We slowed down.
We researched.
We tested.
We waited until it felt right.
And THIS…this feels right.
This packaging feels elevated.
It feels rooted.
It feels aligned with the brand we’ve grown into.
It feels like Divine Purity.
Sometimes the in-between packaging is necessary. It carries you while you figure things out. But it’s not always meant to be permanent.
Growth requires movement. Refinement. Course correction.
And I’m proud of where we landed.
Same incense you love.
Just finally dressed in packaging that reflects the experience inside.

I can’t count the number of emails we receive asking for free products from for-profit events.

Most of the time, I don’t think the intent is bad. I think there’s just a disconnect between how small businesses are viewed and what it actually costs to run one.

We love giving back. Truly. We donate to nonprofits and causes we believe in because we see the value in showing up that way.

But when a for-profit event asks for free product in exchange for “exposure,” it feels less like collaboration and more like being undervalued. And more often than not, the answer will be no thank you.

This is not a hobby.
It’s our livelihood.

Collaboration can be beautiful when it’s equitable.
This is just a reminder of what that actually looks like.

Our Story

Aromatic, Conscious, Therapeutic. These are the three philosophies that we live and practice every day at Divine Purity.

My name is Cassandra Tucker and I am the founder and owner of Divine Purity, a family-run company that produces natural self-care products that aid the user in their emotional and physical well-being.

With what started off as some family and friends’ interest in a few of my homemade self-care products, my client base slowly and steadily grew city-wide.
