Larimar Medspa is named for the Larimar Stone. This rare form of pectolite can only be found in one location in the entire world- a mountainous, relatively inaccessible area in the province of Barahona in the Dominican Republic. According to native folklore, the Larimar stone is said to promote tranquility and a strong sense of inner peace and serenity. Larimar is considered a healing stone and is believed to help enlighten and heal the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual body. Larimar promotes inner wisdom and represents peace and clarity, healing and love.
