Hospice Care Center is a place of comfort where our patients can find short-term, around-the-clock nursing care to manage pain and physical symptoms. It’s also a place where families can find emotional and spiritual support, as well as the peace of mind that comes from knowing their loved one is in good hands. Our 24-hour nursing and support staff are specially trained and highly skilled in meeting the individual needs of our hospice patients. The Hospice Care Center is conveniently located in downtown Chattanooga just across the street from the Erlanger Hospital Emergency Room entrance.

Occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants focus on the things you want and need to do in your daily life. Occupational therapy intervention uses everyday life activities (occupations) to promote health, well-being, and your ability to participate in the important activities in your life.

Today we celebrate National Doctors Day and the physicians who dedicate their lives to caring for others.

Observed on March 30th, this day honors the first successful use of anesthesia in surgery by Crawford W. Long in 1842, a breakthrough that transformed modern medicine.

In hospice care, our physicians provide guidance, compassion, and expertise that help patients and families feel supported every step of the way.

Today was full of smiles at the Hospice Care Center! 💛

Our Hospice of Chattanooga Volunteer Coordinator, Lauren, along with our wonderful volunteer Gail and her sweet pet therapy dog, Derby, spent time bringing comfort, companionship, and joy to patients and families. 🐾✨ The staff also loved getting some special time with Derby—he definitely made lots of new friends today!

Visits like these remind us how powerful kindness, connection, and a wagging tail can be. Thank you, Gail and Derby, for sharing your hearts with our Hospice Care Center community today! 💙

This World Social Work Day, we recognize the powerful impact social workers have in bringing hope, healing, and connection to the communities they serve.
