According to the Federal U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than 20,000 workplace hearing loss cases occur annually, many resulting in permanent hearing loss.

The Speech & Hearing Center HearMobile travels within a 250-mile radius of Chattanooga to conduct OSHA-mandated hearing testing at manufacturing facilities. This is to ensure that workers’ hearing is not negatively affected and that proper hearing safety measures are being taken.

When Jace first came to the Speech & Hearing Center, he was completely nonverbal. Today, he is able to express his emotions, share what he wants and tell others about the things he loves, thanks to consistent speech and occupational therapy and a supportive preschool environment.

Your gift helps make progress like this possible. Support our Giving Tuesday campaign from now until December 2. https://givebutter.com/NN03rV

Looking for ways to support The Speech & Hearing Center?

For this year, we're raising funds for The Speech & Hearing Center! From now until December 2, help us share the magic of communication — from a child’s first words to an adult hearing their loved one again. With your support (matched 1:1 by the Schillhahn-Huskey Foundation), we aim to raise $10,000 for a new, accessible audiology booth and strengthened programs.
