This Earth Day, we are reminded that caring for our planet also means caring for the people in our community.

Sound plays an important role in how we experience the world around us, from conversations with loved ones to the everyday sounds that keep us connected. Creating healthier, quieter environments supports better communication, learning and overall well-being.

It is also a great time to think about how we can reduce waste while expanding access. Donating gently used hearing devices helps give these tools a second life while supporting individuals who rely on them for communication and independence.

Small actions can make a meaningful difference for both people and the planet. 🌱

This year’s theme, “Movement is Life,” reflects a simple truth: movement is fundamental to being human. Our health and well-being depend on our ability to move — physically through our environments, socially within our communities, and even virtually through technology that connects us to work, learning, and one another. When movement is limited, opportunity is limited. The summit celebrates how assistive technology restores and reimagines movement in all its forms, breaking down barriers in schools, workplaces, homes, and communities and helping build a world where everyone can participate fully.
