Last year, I prototyped a healing system with 18 women in the US and demonstrated statistically significant improvement across a set of vetted metrics. Women improved across standardized scales of mood, depression, anxiety, stress, sleep, and waist-hip ratio. If you like data, here’s a table of the initial results from the prototype.

It's called iheal and it offers a simplified, personalized structure to healing. This is cool stuff. The participants-- with my support-- taught themselves how to transform their health. My mission is to empower women to optimize their health with science and systems.

After a year of refinement, it’s online, which allows people to progress at their own pace. And I’m offering a significant “Founder’s” discount for women who help me to refine it.

If you know anyone who might benefit from this, please pass it on. If you’d like to learn more, please reach out to me.

Here's a quick primer on magnesium.

It is so important as it is involved with at least 400 if not 600 different biochemical processes in the body. We require at least 500 mg of elemental magnesium daily.

This is the element magnesium in its pure form. #12 on the periodic table. All supplements deliver the element in a salt form; thus Magnesium- citrate, oxaloate, glycinate etc. However, most supplement labels only tell the weight of the salt form.

Most salts are about 1/5 magnesium and 4/5 salt. So if you are taking a 500 mg tablet, you're likely only getting 100 mg of magnesium. But you never really know!

This is one of the reasons I like Thorne Magnesium Citramate. It clearly states on the bottle that there are 135 mg of magnesium in each capsule. Also, it's super-well tolerated, even at high dosages like 5-6 capsules daily, and has been shown to successfully raise Red Blood Cell magnesium levels in all of my patients. (This is the best and only way to measure magnesium.)

I use about 3-4 capsules daily. It's safe and inexpensive and also supports the Krebs Cycle in our mitochondria through its salt forms, citrate and malate. (Get it? Citra-mate?)

I've pinned my Fullscripts store address in Featured. Here, you can read narratives associated with each vetted supplement I stand behind and get them at a discount with free shipping.

Correctly used supplements are an essential part of a functional healing program.

But there's so much confusion around what works, what's good, and what you should avoid!

I created this Fullscripts account to help you make good, effective, and high-quality choices. This curated list reflects the best products I've found in 15 years of a dedicated Functional Medicine practice and 25 years of exclusively using BHRT.

I've drafted a focused narrative around each product, explaining why it's recommended, how it's best used, optimal dosing, and possible side effects.

These are what I personally use (and what I recommend to my mom). 😁

Click the link in the comments to see my curated list. If you choose to order something, you'll also get a big discount and free shipping.

Simply put, they are the best of the best, IMO.

I post pictures of what I eat because I like to model what I feel is healthy eating. This may not be perfect for everyone. The best thing to do is to really tune into your body and how the food you're consuming makes you feel.

Here’s a photo of a typical evening meal. I tend to eat one larger meal a day, and this is typically around 6 PM. I do engage in a little bit of intermittent fasting and generally don’t get hungry until about 11 AM. I usually get about a 16-hour interval, but it varies.

I like to use meat as a condiment; I’m guessing I have about 5-6 ounces here. This, with the protein powder I had earlier, will hopefully get me close to the recommended 1 g of protein per kilogram daily.

This salad, topped with an olive oil and reduced balsamic vinegar dressing, is pure, healthful, phytonutrients. Beets, avocaso, sweet peppers, and cucumber.

Here’s a fun fact. The amino acid asparagine was first identified in the juice of asparagus, noted because of its distinctive smell. A small percentage of the population, maybe 10%, lack ability to smell asparagine.

Anyhow, this kind of food makes me feel good after I’ve eaten. I’ve got about the same amount of beef cooked and saved for tomorrow. I’ll likely do a similar salad. Quick and easy.

What did you eat tonight? How did it make you feel?

Snap a photo of your meal and share it with the group. Let us know why you chose what you ate.

"All healing begins in the gut." Hippocrates.

And gut health begins with good food.

Hormone replacement therapy helps all of these tissues in women.

The WHI (Women's Health Initiative) trial in 2002 single-handedly spun back women's health by decades. It erroneously decreed that estrogen increased breast cancer risk and women across the stopped using their hormones. I recall that my GYN office was deluged with calls.

But the WHI was a horrible trial. While it claimed that estrogen increased risk, no estrogen was studied in the trial. Zero. This was a complete farce! The study used conjugated equine estrogens-- and any 3-year-old can look at the molecular structures of estrogen and CEE and see that they are different.

Additionally, the average entry age of women in the study was 63 years old! But wait, the average age of menopause is 50-51! Why did they choose a group of women in whom, simply by living longer, had already increased their cancer risk?

Yes, there are some women for whom ERT is contraindicated. If a woman has a history of stroke or breast cancer, this should be carefully and individually considered.

Bioidentical HRT improves cognition, heart health, bones, and gut health, plain and simple. It may not be for everyone, but that's the beauty of being able to make one's own choices.

I have seen estrogen transform lives again and again.

I had the pleasure of doing a podcast last month with the team from Vibrant America. This is a top-shelf lab that does cutting-edge testing across all aspects of health. I toured the lab last month, and it's mind-boggling how much science and technology is tucked under one roof!

This podcast is all about "thinking different" and addressing health from a different perspective.

Check it out, and let me know what you think!

Greetings, all! I've been hard at work sharing my view of medicine with the world. I believe that we need to re-examine health care, and to put more control into the hands of the consumer.

I'm posting weekly videos on YouTube to educate people, with the same information I shared in my medical office and clincial practice. These are intended to be short, entertaining and practical.

But most importantly they are designed to give you, the "patient" insight into your health, and the steps you can take to get super healthy.

Let me know what you think. Here's a link to the video I posted today.
