Had an incredibly impactful visit to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank!

Seeing their operations firsthand truly drove home the reality of food insecurity in our community and the essential nature of their services. With the rising costs of food and gas, the need is more urgent than ever for our patients. This visit highlighted how food access is a critical social determinant of health. We learned so much from the Food Bank's efficiency and dedication, and we're bringing those lessons back to better manage our own small food pantry and support our patients even more effectively. Fun fact: LifeSpring and Chattanooga Area Food Bank are in the same United Way of Greater Chattanooga cohort!

May 2nd - Join us in our missions to expand access to healthcare to children in Chattanooga!

Our annual 5k will kick off on Saturday, May 2nd at 8:30am! If you are looking for a time to support or learn more about LifeSpring, join us at Brainard BX where we will have music, games, and awards. The race will be timed by the Chattanooga track club and hosted by their club manager, Mike Leary.

Fear Not: Reflections from the CCHF (Christian Community Health Fellowship) 2026 Conference

Our LifeSpring directors just returned from the CCHF (Christian Community Health Fellowship) Conference, and "inspired" doesn't even begin to cover it. This year’s theme, "Fear Not," was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.

The week kicked off with a deeply moving tribute to two giants of the faith and healthcare: Dr. John Perkins and Steve Noblett. Both passed away this past year, and their legacies are woven into the very fabric of CCHF. It was a beautiful moment to honor their lifelong commitment to justice, healing, and the founding of this incredible community.

Highlights from the Summit:
Deep Learning: We dove into workshops that challenged our perspectives and sharpened our skills for serving our community better through the executive summit.

Soul Care: The worship times were a refreshing "reset," grounding us in our mission.

Kingdom Connections: We loved meeting like-minded leaders from across the country, sharing burdens and brainstorming solutions.

A Taste of the Queen City 🍝🍨
Of course, you can't go to Cincinnati (right across the river from where the conference was held in Covington, KY) without a little "research" into the local staples! Our team made sure to fuel up with some famous Skyline Chili and capped off the trip with the legendary Graeter’s Ice Cream. (Let’s just say it lived up to the hype!)

We’re back with full hearts, fresh ideas, and a renewed spirit to serve. Thank you for your prayers and support while we were away!

Tennessee Charitable Care Network serves as the policy and advocacy voice for free and charitable clinics and programs throughout the State of Tennessee. Yesterday, Aubrey and Jill had the opportunity to participate in Hill Day. Hill Day brings members together to raise awareness about the important role they play in their communities as providers in Tennessee's Health Care Safety Net. It's a good opportunity to introduce the House and Senate members to the work that LifeSpring does in Chattanooga and Hamilton County.
