ORA Center

ORA Center We encourage practicing yogis to attend this training to deepen their understanding of yoga from asana to pranayama to Samadhi. Our practicum is like no other.

ORA Center is the natural evolution of Chattanooga Yoga School and Madia’s Healing Arts — a space where yoga, somatic practice, and integrative care come together to support embodied living. Yoga Teacher Training
Our curriculum is primarily designed to offer participants a Foundational education that will prepare them for the journey of a yoga student and teacher, private practitioner or mind/body

professional. The Chattanooga Yoga School is led by dedicated and attentive full-time yoga professionals who will prepare you to enter a studio classroom with confidence. Upon graduation, you will have sequenced and taught multiple hour-long yoga classes. If your goal is simply to deepen your practice, we will offer an advanced curriculum without the pressure to instruct classes. Students will practice a spectrum of asana classes and learn the philosophical foundations of this amazing mind/body medium. Every participant will leave with a comprehensive plan for success, including extensive study of nutrition, lifestyle and business. Our goal is to offer an experience that exceeds our students’ expectations. We are proud to bring you an integrative curriculum that surpasses the standards for Yoga Alliance Registration.

Somatic question:
What shifts in you when you pause long enough to feel the place where your body is asking you to land?

ORA essence:
ORA comes from ancient words meaning edge and now — the threshold where change becomes possible and the present moment where you return to yourself.
At ORA, our practices are designed to meet you right at that threshold: steady, devotional, somatic, and rooted in real life.

Tonight at 5p:
Awaken Flow & Restore with Lauren
A warm, heart-forward blend of movement and rest that helps your system soften and open.

This week at ORA:
Sun 5:00p — Awaken Flow & Restore (Lauren)
Mon 5:45p — Somatic Unwind (Madia)
Tue 9:30a — Awaken Wellness (Bethanie)
Tue 6:00p — Gentle Flow (Megan)
Wed 5:30p — Awaken Strength (Madia)
Thu 9:30a — Awaken Wellness (Bethanie)
Thu 7:00p — Awaken Somatic Restore (Madia)
Fri 6:00p — Community Yoga (Carissa)
Sat 10:00a — Awaken Strength (Madia)
Sat 11:30a — Gentle Flow (Lauren)

Next Sunday:

A steady, devotional close to the week — a soft return to yourself.

Come as you are.
Leave a little more whole.

Somatic question: What softens in you when you pause long enough to feel what’s quietly emerging beneath the noise?

Micro‑practice: Unclench your jaw, feel your feet, and let one slow breath show you where there’s ease.

This week at ORA, we’re exploring our April theme: Listening for What’s Emerging. A gentle, body‑led kind of trust — the kind that doesn’t rush clarity, but senses it.

✨ Terra teaches BUTI on Tuesday at 6pm — her final class, catch it while you can. ✨ Next Tuesday at 6pm, we welcome Gentle Flow with Megan.

Come as you are. Move how you need. Let your body show you what’s next.

ROOTED CONFIDENCE
Tonight • 5:30pm Radiant Flow
Confidence isn’t something we perform — it’s something we feel.
A quiet steadiness that rises from the inside out.
Tonight’s class explores:
✨ the energy that circulates through the whole body (Vyana Vayu)
✨ the stories and interpretations of the mind (Manomaya Kosha)
✨ a subtle fire in the belly that supports clarity and presence
Expect grounding breath, expansive movement, and a practice that helps you return to your center.
If you’ve been feeling scattered, stretched, or in need of a reset… this one is for you.

What if your yoga practice actually supported your whole nervous system — not just your flexibility or strength?

ORA grew from Madia’s Healing Arts into a space where movement is designed for real life: your stress, your edges, your energy, your healing, your becoming. Slow, strong, expressive — every class is built with intention.

If you’re craving movement that feels wise, grounding, and alive… you’ll feel at home here.

Rooted Confidence This week at ORA, we’re practicing the kind of steadiness that comes from inside — breath, presence, and the quiet strength of being in your body. Come move, soften, and settle into yourself.

✨ QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“Confidence is quiet. It comes from knowing who you are, not proving it.”
