This piece is a unique work of art, as the patina (the blue-green color finish) was developed intentionally through my jewelry torch and natural oxidizing processes with pink salt and vinegar, making each one-of-a-kind.

I am always inspired by nature around me in my everyday life and on my travels.
If you have ever been to Maui, you will have heard of a road..the locals call "The road to Hana." This road has inspired me to create this piece, honoring the history and memory of what this road means to its people.
I used Argentium silver to create the winding road, the pathway to the 7 pools. At the end of the road, I used an abalone cabashon stone to represent the beautiful layers of pools that cascade into the ocean below.
