Ashwood Square proudly honored the brave men and women who have served our great nation. Residents Admiral Vance and Mrs. Charlynne Fry led a touching Quilts of Valor ceremony, recognizing and wrapping our AWS veterans in gratitude, comfort, and respect.

We hosted a friendly costume competition during our special Spooktacular Luncheon, where participants paraded around the dining room while everyone cast their votes for their favorites. 🗳️✨

🎶🎃 Yesterday, the Bradley County Homeschoolers sang an early “Happy Birthday” to our wonderful Resident, Betty Martin-Davies! Betty’s birthday falls on Halloween, so this early celebration was the sweetest trick-or-treat she could have asked for! Help us wish Betty a very Happy Birthday in the comments below! She’s such a kind-hearted, joyful member of our Ashwood Square community, and we’re so grateful to celebrate her!

We’d also like to wish a very Happy Anniversary to our Residents Mike & Kathleen Reinshagen (not pictured or seen in the video). ❤️🎉 Their special day also falls on Halloween as well, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating them, too!

Ashwood Square was delighted to host the Bradley County Homeschoolers for a festive afternoon of trick-or-treating. Residents enjoyed sharing their favorite Halloween memories, telling a few spooky stories, and offering kind words to the children, who arrived dressed in their most creative and charming costumes. The children listened to Halloween music as they went trick-or-treating door-to-door at participating residents’ homes. The photos truly capture some of the spirit for the day — we’ll let them speak for themselves! 📸✨

A heartfelt thank-you to Tiffany Dwiel, BCHE Events Coordinator, for coordinating this special visit! To the parents, chaperones, and children for bringing such wonderful energy to our community once again this year. We greatly appreciate the joy and excitement the children shared with our residents, and we look forward to welcoming them back in the future.
