Toes Yoga of Chattanooga is an intimate yoga studio nestled in the Brainerd Arts District. We offer yoga classes for all abilities, from beginner to advanced. Our teachers are the most qualified in town and are capable of relating the class to individual needs. Some of our classes include meditation, flow, fundamentals, Vinyasa, prenatal, Yin, and more.

As we move through this week’s waning crescent moon—a time of reflection and renewal—we also honor Black History Month, recognizing the wisdom, resilience, and contributions of Black teachers and practitioners who continue to shape the yoga community. Yoga reminds us of our deep interconnectedness, inviting awareness, compassion, and care for ourselves and one another. This week, we practice presence on the mat while honoring the voices and traditions that strengthen our shared community.

Join Cyndi for this unique workshop series experience. Come Home to Yourself: A Self-Love Journey is designed to help you move from external validation towards an embodied self-esteem allowing you to greet yourself with kindness, presence and respect.

This two-day, four-hour experiential series weaves poetry, self-esteem work through discussion and journaling, gentle yoga and guided meditation into a tapestry of experiences to help you remember how to love who you are. You will be guided to re-claim your self worth by reconnecting with your inner voice, your intuitive body wisdom and self compassion.

The first week of February arrives with unpredictable weather and a bright full moon, illuminating both what’s been building and what’s ready to soften or let go. Sunday Celebrations: After beginning with some energizing pranyama, we will move through a slow flow allowing the opportunity for each pose to be held and appreciated for several moments. We will cool the body with a few yin poses to restore the connective tissue before savasana. This class is all levels.

Yoga for Resilience: "Yoga allows you to rediscover a sense of wholeness in your life, where you do not feel like you are constantly trying to fit broken pieces together.” BKS Iyengar. Our world today presents itself with many stressors that weaken our inner strength, stamina and emotional balance. These factors all play a key role in building our resilience in responding to the inevitable difficult times of life. In Yoga for Resilience, we will create strength and stability, find groundedness and connection, and discover balance and fortitude by moving through a variety of yoga postures. This class will also offer plenty of opportunity for stillness and reflection to better serve your practice off the mat.

Yin and Restore: Longer held postures designed to release tension from the spine and joints. Breath and meditation techniques help restore a healthy mind and nervous system.

Saturday Salutations: Start your weekend with meditation in motion. This class allows for students to unite their bodies and minds by flowing from pose to pose in a mindful vinyasa practice.

Wellness Yoga: A highly adaptive class focusing on meeting your body where it is today. Using multiple yoga tools such as chairs, blocks and bolsters, this class allows for increased flexibility, improved range of motion and overall stress relief in a compassionate, welcoming environment.

Saturday Serenity: Longer held postures designed to release tension from the spine and joints borrowing from both the yin and restorative modalities. After releasing tension and relieving stress, we will finish the class with a guided meditation allowing for a deeper release to enhance rest and relaxation.
